i'm at my sisters and once again... baylie is sleeping:) i also finished my book last night so there is nothing left to do but write a new post:

eddie will be here in 10 hours. very exciting. it has been 11 days since i last saw him. i keep thinking we have to stop doing this... but then i remember we are in the military and it will NEVER end. it does make us really miss each other, and that part it believe it or not... nice.

today is "christmas eve" and it actually snowed. it makes it feel more christmassy than the actual christmas.

well... if you can't tell, i have nothing to post... so until next time, i love you all

a random post

It has been way too long since I last posted. I know this... but yet I never know what to write about:)

But now I feel like I have to because I wrote it in some of my Christmas cards... and when people check...

Here are some updates from Dayton:

ME ~ I'm loving my job. I never thought this was actually possible, but my school, students, staff and parents are great. I still think I am better suited for an older grade then fourth, but for now it is okay.

I actually have this student who keeps me on my toes. Here's a run down of his life thus far. Mom has been with man after man after man. Where his dad is or who his dad is another story. Anyways last year, she seemed to have finally settled down with Man A and he had a daughter a couple of years younger than my kid. However, she lost it and decided to move out of Man A's apartment with out my kid and who knows where she went. Left the kid with this man who is not his father. Stepdad loves my kid and tries really hard. Comes to conferences, helps with homework, tries to create a sense of normalcey for kid... until MOm moves back in with Man B in late September. Will Man A doesn't want to live there anymore. Has developed a great relationship with my kid, but for his own sanity and daughter... he moves out in mid october with daughter and dog. Heartbreaking. Ever since then, my kid goes from 1-10 in an instant. Who knows what the triggers are. It just happens. But who can blame him really?

E and I have decided to plan a trip to Aruba after the boards. This will be his last break til he gets into residency and we need "us " time. Where else to do this than Aruba, right:)

EDDIE: He is in the middle of second year. Plugging away. He studies at least 10 hours every day. Can you believe that? I can't imagine what he has filled his head with so far... and how there is any more room to get to the end of the year... the end of med school, residency, life:) He's a trooper though. You would think that these would be the worst years of our marriage because it is so taxing. But actually, we have both made it a point to talk and have quality time at every possible moment. This is interesting because I feel like we know each other better now and spend much less time with each other!

HOUSEMATES: Currently the number is 3. Justyn is more permanent. I infact don't even know how permanent. He is a third year and lives in the front bedroom. He is a great roommate. People all the time think he is Eddie's brother. We also have a Swedish couple living with us. I really enjoy that because we learn a little bit about their culture.

The only other I miss Baylie!!!!
