good news:)
we found out on monday that the car is going to get fixed. although front end damage is never a good selling point... we couldn't afford a new one! the mechanic still doesn't think the core support is damaged, which would make the fixings mostly cosmetic... i think. my dad or eddie will probably read this and disagree.i'm also about to go in qualifications for a mk car. i just read kerri's blog and agree hole heartidly = home businesses are the thing to do. i got a lot of things done and didn't even get out of my bath robe:) or homemade knited socks = thanks mompray for our friend ruthie. last night at her job, she crushed her thumb in a machine. miraculously mt vernon er was able to say it. still, very painful. even the pain meds she is taking aren't working very well.that's all for now.
getting in car wrecks seems to be the thing to do...i'm more embarrassed than anything. my arm immediatly swelled, but no broken bones. no others were involved. this is all good. i kept thinking as i was xrayed... what kind of break does it have to be to get it "set?"we went to go look at the truck today. originally the cop and tow guy thought the core support was hit... but it looks like it stayed pretty much in tact. damages are 6500... so we are waiting on the adjuster to let us know if it is "totaled." i really hope not. i liked that car.when we called the insurance girl and told her what happened... and then the damages she exclaimed "what!" oh yes... when i hit something, i hit it good:)i know this is in God's hands and we will wait and see what happens.
haven't done this for a while...i found out that i was accepted to complete this outdoor environmental research project worth 5 credit hours in the Grand Tetan Nat'l Park = for free. i just have to come up with the airfare... which is about 400. i really want eddie to meet me out there once it is over to spend a couple of days. he hasn't yet had the opportunity to visit that far west... but he wants to visit his grandma is worried about the price of med school. i understand, but am disappointed. another reason to get the mk thing going:)i'm counting down the days until spring break... i'm so tired of school. i know that is a horrible thing to say, but it is the truth. these kids are just so difficult to motivate in anyway. i'm having a pizza party on thursday and students had two ways to earn it... only 10 of 22 students will get to come. isn't that sad??thank you mike redcay again for being willing to be interviewed. brooke was soooo nervous, she hardly remembered what to say. i was going to post a thank you on your blog... but the most recent post doesn't really work for that kind of thing.church was really great yesterday. our pastor has been doing a series on raising children, and he is very blunt. i like it. parents need to hear what he has to say.well, that's it:)
i'm coming home on sat!!!
i know this is irrevelant to most of you our there... but i'm coming home on sat!!!

amazingly enough... no school today!it must have been really windy last night, because when i went to bed it wasn't snowing anymore.i actually went to eddie's b-ball game at the naz. it was at eleven so i figured there wouldn't be any girl support... as it is a middle aged team:)kara was there. she is marrying mark at the end of april. it is very exciting. we spent most of the game "catching up":) it is always so interesting going back to the naz. watching the college students brings back lots of memories. i was talking to my roommate freshman year on im and realized it really has been a long time!i finally took the advice of random people and got a credit report to check for id theft. luckily, nothing. i can't believe i have so many things on it. i guess i always thought when you closed an account... it went off=nope.well, i need to do some more things around the house and play with my puppy:)
although she does need to update her blog more frequently:)
