finally blogging again:)
before i go into anything minor... this has hit me hard:
http://dilbonedaily.blogspot.com/ ... see makes no sense
http://www.thisaintmyhome.blogspot.com/ see quick as a wink
too soon for me to comment really, i haven't fully digested my thoughts and such.
on another note: boy has this been an interesting summer. i went to wyoming for two weeks (i wish i could post some pictures... help?) for a geology field study. it was five graduate hours paid for by a grant. applying for it, i didn't think i would get in. i think that was why i was originally comfortable with applying.
but then i was accepted, and then i actually went.... and the first three days were HORRIBLE. if i were rich and able to throw around money, especially on plane tickets, i would have come home.
our ranch sat at about 7500 feet a.s.l. and just walking to my cabin, my heart felt like it was about to come out of my chest. and then we started hiking:( one of my friends was with me and i think the only reason i made all the hikes was because i didn't want him to report back to my husband what a wimp i was. however, those hikes turned out to be amazing and i became acclamated to the altitude, and the trip turned 180 into an amazing experience!
i pushed myself to do things i would never normally do... and maybe never do again! i am so glad i took that trip:)
when i got home, i went to dinner with eddie's family to celebrate his birthday. the next morning, he woke up and went to serve his two week guard duty:(
which = 4 weeks of not seeing eddie. a very difficult time.
during that two weeks, i was able to go to dallas for an MK seminar. it really changed my perspective of this company. woman after woman got up on stage and shared how mk allowed them to stay at home with their children and send them to college on their mk income alone.
that is exactly the reason i joined to begin with... so i came home and started building my business. i really feel that God has his hand in this, because it is growing... and i am very excited!!!!
school starts in a week and a half. i'm starting to get nervous. i hope to get my classroom done soon. that will make me feel better soon. i read that erica is almost done... i am very jealous:)
well... after that novel, i'm done. i think that was all that i wanted to say:)

I'm glad you stayed out west, however difficult it was physically and emotionally. At least you got another "A"! :) (Moms like to brag!)
May God continue to bless the growing of your business.
Next week it will be much cooler and your classroom will be less of an oven!
SO glad you're blogging again!
Love, Mom
EB:
Thanks for your comment on my Quick as a Wink post, for your prayers and encouragement. I applaud your efforts to seek out the Word and not rely on the denomination's interpretation too much. I am very grateful to the denom for all it has afforded me relationally, personally, and spiritually, but this latest has been a scary reminder that so often institutions prefer to retain the status quo instead of resting in the hands of a "wild God". I mean wild in the best sense of the word.
I hope that we all seek the balance that comes from being informed by the Word and transformed by the Spirit. We need both!
I'm also glad you had such a wonderful trip. What an accomplishment for you! We'd love to see the pics. After I post my tattoo pictures I'll see if I can help you.
