eddie has a very dear friend who is having a very difficult time making responsible decisions right now. long story short... he and an old girlfriend had a baby over the summer. they have gotten in several fights and he has moved out several times. about two weeks ago, boy asked her other son to not drink directly from the orange juice carton... which spawns an incredible fight. girl throws a phone at him and it hits his face. he calls us. we go get him.
he has been living with us the past two weeks... which i haven't minded in the least. he has been a very good house guest... (which still brings the question: should you only open your home to good house guests?) anyways... boy has not gotten any custodial rights and has to just remain friends with this girl.. who calls ALL THE TIME and is extremely up and down, one second it is this and the next second it is that.
we took her home the other day (one hour and a half) and she didn't say thank you.
a little of my background... i teach and work with children from unstable homes daily. this causes a deep frusteration for many parents.
boy went to go visit girl thursday so that he could see daughter. boy had a job interview, girl brought him and now she is in the living room. there are so many things in the pit of my stomach that i want to share with her... not the nicest comments... and now she is just going to stay here all day....!!!!!!
i said hello... she said nothing.
i'm sure i omitted a lot...
but we will see.
